Follow these guidelines to ensure you complete your letter correctly. Your letter should include 15 interview questions. Avoid asking basic WHO/WHAT/WHEN/WHERE/WHY questions.

**1st Paragraph: Introduction**

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing because we are completing an oral history project in class that requires us to interview someone. I would love to base my project on your experiences as a truck driver and surviving Covid while driving cross-country in your truck. I hope that others who listen to this interview will discover more about the life of a Mack Long Haul truck driver while also reflecting on the pandemic experiences of others. I think my audience will delight in the romantic notions of cross-country travel and will reflect upon the varied but shared experience of living through the pandemic.

**2nd Paragraph: Introduction to Your Topic and Interview Questions**

I see you as an ally in the creation of this project because I remember my own short six-week cross-country trip in the summer of 2003. **3rd Paragraph: Conclusion**

To conclude, I look forward to interviewing you. I always love talking with you about life and sharing stories with you when catching up. I think your involvement in this project will give me broader insight into your life as well as the life of Mack long-haul truckers. I also want to take a moment and reflect upon the pandemic, especially with you, a Covid survivor. It's important for us to stop and reflect upon the historic nature of the pandemic.
